Letter from the Chairman

On behalf the Aiken Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees, welcome to the Aiken Technical College Foundation Web Site. This site was created to extend Foundation outreach efforts not just locally, but across the country to our alumni family and friends.

Chartered in 1977, just five years after the founding of ATC, the Foundation began its quest for scholarship funding in support of academically deserving students. The ATC Foundation's vision is to be the preferred community non-profit organization of private and corporate donations, which are viewed as an investment in the College and the economic development of the region.

The Aiken Technical College Foundation will undertake activities to acquire and manage resources that will facilitate the fulfillment of the mission and goals of the College, while strengthening positive community partnerships.

The Foundation's Goals are:

Connect with the community to raise awareness of the College by assisting and encouraging partnerships between individuals, business and industry.
Generate and provide resources to meet the College's assessed needs and help fulfill its mission.
To be recognized as a philanthropic leader in maximizing donor investments, that enhances economic development and quality of life in the region.

Now is the time to invest in ATC. A high course transferability rate and increased demand for a skilled and specialized work force makes ATC a very appealing option to young and old alike as they seek to further their education.

Your commitment to ATCF, either through annual giving, gifts to our major gifts campaign or planned gifts to address future college needs, is a necessary and worthwhile investment in the future of our community.
