Scholarships for Current High School Graduates

The following scholarships are awarded to current year high school graduates only. Please download an Institutional Scholarship application.

Vernon R. Ford High School Scholarship – Up to $8,000 awarded annually

Candidate recommendations are made by the high school guidance counselors
Must be a graduating senior of one of the Aiken County or Strom Thurmond High Schools
Must enroll full-time at ATC
Must have a final high school GPA of 3.0 or better
May continue for a second year if student completes 24 credit hours with a 3.0 GPA and is enrolled in an associate degree program

Vernon R. Ford Career Center Scholarship – Up to $8,000 awarded annually

Candidate recommendations are made by Aiken county Career Center counselors for students in corresponding fields at ATC (Automotive Tech, Computer Tech, Drafting, Electricity, Environmental Control Systems, Health Occupations, Machine Tech and Welding Tech)
Must enroll full-time at ATC
Must have a final Career Center GPA of at least a 3.0.
May continue for a second year if student completes 24 credit hours with a 3.0 GPA and is enrolled in an associate degree program
