The following scholarships are awarded to current year high school graduates and continuing or transfer students. The list shows a variety of private and special interest scholarships established for ATC students. The applications are posted each spring or as they become available, in the Financial Aid Office. The amount and number of scholarships may vary each year according to private donations. To be eligible for the following scholarships, recipients must be enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) except where indicated other wise. Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited associate, diploma or certificate program with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, all applications will be reviewed by the Aiken Technical College Scholarship Selection Committee. All selected recipients will be notified by letter of their award. Recipients are also required to attend the Scholarship Benefactor/Recipient Breakfast held in January of each year. All students must complete an F.A.F.S.A. form.

- Amelia Grace Mottel Memorial Nursing Scholarship – Up to $500 awarded annually
- Recipient must be accepted into the Associate Degree Nursing Program
- Recipient must be enrolled full-time at ATC
- Recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Criminal Justice Book Scholarship – Up to $100 annually
- Recipient must be enrolled in the criminal justice program full-time

Criminal Justice/Correctional Counseling Book Scholarship – Up to $100 annually
- Recipient must be enrolled in the criminal justice or correctional counseling associate degree program
- Recipient in the correctinal counseling program must be verified by the correctional counseling advisor prior to being awarded the scholarship
- Recipient must be enrolled full-time
- Recipient must have a minimum GPA of 2.5

- Aiken Lions Club – Up to 2 $400 per year

- Recipient must attend one Aiken Lion’s Club meeting to introduce themselves to the club members
- American Association of University Women – Up to $8,000 awarded annually

- Ashley J. Little Family Endowment – Up to $3,000 awarded annually

- John D. Bryan Criminal Justice – Up to $500 awarded annually

- Recipient must be employed full-time in the field of Criminal Justice or be a full-time student in the Criminal Justice Program
- Henry Pickens Cato II Endowed Scholarship Fund – Up to $800 annually

- Recipient must demponstrate financial need
- Preference for scholarship awards will be given to students who show evidence, either in the past or present time, of having demonstrated:
- A commitment to a strong work ethic through meaningful work experience in the public or private sector
- A commitment of volunteerism through performing meaningful community service without compensation
- Students who have previously been selected as a Henry Pickens Cato II scholar shall be considered for renewal of the scholarship award so long as the student remains in good standing (academic or otherwise) as determined by the school
- Criminal Justice Skills USA Scholarship – 2 Up to $500 awarded annually

- Recipient must be enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program
- Recipient must be a member and attended the Skills USA State Competition during the prior spring term
- Recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Recipient must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours
- Applications for this scholarship will be reviewed by Dr. Wayne Davis, Criminal Justice Coordinator to verify Skills USA attendance
- Hilda Delionbach Nursing Scholarship – Up to $400 awarded annually

- Recipient must demonstrate successful academic performance
- Scholarship will be awarded without regard to financial need
- George Dickey Scholarship Endowment – Up to $800 awarded annually

- Energy Solutions Engineering Technology – 3 Up to $500 awarded annually

- Recipient must enroll in one of the following programs, Industrial, Engineering or Occupational with emphasis in chemical/environmental technology (preference given to latter)
- Vernon R. Ford Incentive – Up to $4,000 awarded annually

- Recipient must be within one full-time semester of graduation
- Recipient cannot receive federal or state aid that meets or exceeds their cost of tuition
- James Geer/Phi Theta Kappa – Up to $300 awarded annually

- Recipient must demonstrate high academic success
- Recipient must be actively involved in phi Theta Kappa activities
- Recipient must be enrolled full time
- Larry D. Hawes Memorial Scholarship – Up $400 awarded annually

- Recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Recipient must be enrolled in the General Education Certificate, Associate of Arts, or Associate of Science Program
- Hospital Auxiliary of Aiken County – 4 up to $1000 awarded annually

- Recipient must be enrolled full-time or considered full-time for the program which they are enrolled
- Recipient must be accepted into one of the following programs:
- Radiologic Technology
- Surgical Technology
- ADN or LPN – Nursing
- Expanded Dental Assisting Program
- Recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- One recipient will be selected from each of the programs listed above
Mike King Memorial Paramedic Scholarship – Up to $1050 awarded annually
- Recipient must be enrolled in the Paramedic Program
- Recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Recipient must have recent clinic experience/on the job training as an intermediate EMT
Marlin L. Knight Memorial Nursing Scholarship Endowment – Up to $400 awarded annually
- Recipient must be enrolled full-time at ATC or considered full-time in the nursing program
- Recipient must be accepted into the Nursing Program
- Recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Recipient must be a resident of Aiken County

- Mr. and Mrs. William Kolosvary Scholarship – Up to $300 awarded annually

- Recipient must be enrolled full-time at ATC or considered full time for the program that they are enrolled in at ATC
- Recipient must not be eligible for Pell Grant, Life Scholarship or WIA. Lottery funded students are eligible Recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Recipient must demonstrate a commitment to a strong work ethic through meaningful work experience
- Recipient must demonstrate a commitment of volunteerism through performing meaningful community service without compensation
- Recipient is encouraged to attend the annual Benefactor/Recipient Breakfast held each year in January.

- R.E.A.D Scholarship – Up to $300 awarded annually

- Recipient must be enrolled in a development reading course
- Recipient must complete the ATC Foundation R.E.A.D Scholarship Application and turn it in to Thomasina Hughey for committee review and selection of recipient. Ms. Hughey will then forward a copy of the application of the recipient to the Financial Aid office and the ATC Foundation office. Deadline for submittal is August 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester each year.

- Rogers Book Scholarship – Up to $300 awarded annually

Katie Scott Memorial Education Scholarship – Up to $500 awarded annually
- Recipient must be a graduate of Aiken High School
- Recipient must be enrolled as a University Transfer Student enrolled in K-12 Education
- Recipient must be full-time
- Recipient must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA

- Maurice Williams/Aiken County Home Builders Association – Up to $1,000 awarded annually

- Recipient must be enrolled in classes associated with the building industry, ie: banking, HVAC, Electrical, etc.
- Recipient must be an incoming high school graduate or first time freshman
- Preference given to a child, grandchild or employee of an Aiken County Home Builders Association member
- Women of Woodside Book Scholarship – 1 Up to $300 awarded annually
